Hi, can I pop my name down on this one please?? I know it's a little late in the year but I'm never one to do things at the same time as everyone else :p

I'll use my instant saver account which I don't use and I can access online. I have the grand total of £27.09 in there.

I'll try to update once a week/month with my new totals.

    Hi Purplevamp

Its never too late to start saving!! Welcome aboard :)
I have added your name to our list on page 1.
    Good luck with the savings!!

Unfortunatley I've just had to empty my virtual pot due to two emergencies.
    1) My PC has bricked itself - I'm gonna use my virtual pot as my pc fund - need to save up £600 over a few months :-(

    2) My GI tract is in a terrible state (stomach ulcer and other medical issues) and now I can barely eat anything without getting very ill. Having to go totally back to basics and sort out almost an elimination diet, just to let my GI system rest and recover, so all the nice mexican, indian and chinese foods I have available in my cupboard, are no use at all.
I need the cash back to get a good supply of veg so I can make a hearty veg soup and have a very plain diet for a while to let things recover.
Or I'll end up in hospital again!
Now to hunt around the room and find those random pennies that are meant to be in my real sealed pot, and take them to the farmer's market / supermarket for veg!
