Ishtar - thank you I finally got around to doing my labels for the Christmas cards following your instructions.

You're welcome - glad it worked OK...

I've had a bit of a busy morning - long lost relatives came to visit (aunt and uncle who I haven't seen for around 10 years:eek:). They rang up wanting to drop off the children's Christmas presents (giving me about 45 mins notice!!)...they usually take them to my parent's house, but this year thought they'd pop in. Was nice to see them.

And....the best thing was....I only had to do a quick sweep of the living room/kitchen floors and wipe the table. This Flylady thing seems to be working!

    afternoon everyone
I started this post about 10 this morning but it has been a bit manic here so have only just managed to finish it.
:DSet up ebook reader --have you done it yet and is it good???:D Studying - make a plan for rest of month - or look into giving up (OK I am just feeling grumpy about it) No sod it - I am not giving up - Think about toots and Lady-L and stop being so pathetic.
Aunty you are certainly not being pathetic - and sod it give it up :rotfl: if its not enjoyment then why torture yourself - you will have more time to do more pleasureable things like your craft things.
MrsChaos you did well yesterday - thats a great list of things done
wilf well done getting all that listing done - fingers crossed for good sales
JillD thats another Mum that mine must be related to! well done for surviving the TMV and still being sane!
LilacPixie you had better not be picking up bad habits from here - staying up so late - what were you thinking about - you need sleep remember!!!!
juliejim you will be exhausted - hope you get a good sleep tonight
SS supergirl its great to see you posting honey - and 'no' she has no idea who she is messing with - sort her out wont you!!! thats great that you have a few days off to catch up. love and hugs xxxx
hellsbells silence .......how wonderful ......thats something I miss with all the people coming and going here!!! hope you get some things done too.
DeNattom you have got to stick to your guns honey - you are so right it is YOUR life - she had her crack at life and now its your turn - and I totally agree about her not coming to clean the house - you would either be thrown out or lose your housemates!! take a step back and sort yourself out - let them get on and do their thing

She has mentioned him before... as a potential Mr Toots... I think she should tell us more :D:D
yes it was greenbee who dubbed him MR Toots - it just proves that most of you dont read my posts:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: he has been mentioned on several occasions since I posted my wish list - nearly always by greenbee-he has been one of my closest friends since 1999 and has supported me through my chemo- if you recall i said then I wanted to be married. well its no further forward and if I recall valli asked if he knew how I felt and yes he does. Its his birthday next week and I had hoped to have a coffee with him but since he has SF that wont be possible and maybe not before Christmas either. End of story - no further details will be available for public scrutinY:rotfl:
lemanie hope you begin to pick up this week - good news that they didnt find anything nasty - take it steady - wrapping presents is an important job just now so if you can manage that you will be getting something tedious out of the way.
zoelikejam good to hear from you pet and good to hear that the family have sorted out the child minding for you - I can appreciate you will miss LO but its far more sensible this way - I do hope they organise some help for you until you are a little more able. good luck with the card making - love and hugs xx
Dusty hope the play goes well and 'she' behaves herself -have been thinking of you (((hugs))))
LadyL I am quite impressed with the Royal Mail - I only posted them on friday and 2nd class so thats not bad!!!
rosepink meals on wheels doesnt exist anymore - you have to buy in Wiltshire Foods frozen meals for the microwave - they are ok what I have seen but could prove expensive and if Zoe doesnt get a carer she would still have to do it herself unfortunately.
helen jelly well done on the weekend de-cluttering :T
signs of recovery - its ok honey you are still on the list - you would need to be absent for a few weeks before we would take you off.
twoflower good luck with the smear - try to relax as much as you can - yes it will bring back horrible memories but look at the lovely outcome of it all - bet you wouldnt change that!!!
sammiell motivation by the bucketful coming your way honey - i know you will do it - i wish i could keep up with you!!! you could get the carpet down before Christmas unless you cant financially do it just now - time wise there is loads of time IYSWIM!!! I am getting the same - if i have waited this long I can wait another 2/3 weeks to get the right thing.
kazm just tell the doctor you are still worn out - he has to realise you are only half way through the treatment.
newhouseowner - stick with us and you will have your house ship shape and easy to run - will send you a pm shortly
    natty :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

the painter has made good progress - the hall is all stripped and patched - bad news is that the ceiling will have to be plaster boarded so the joiners have been to see whats needed and we have decided to drop the ceiling slightly so I can have down lighters to make it brighter - it only has 1 light at the mo - so electrician has been contacted and he is coming tomorrow - joiners will either be late tomorrow or wed - so things are working in quite well - dont know if they will get the floor done as the stuff has to be ordered and might not be here on wed - if not that will be next week but no a huge problem ther is plenty more for the painter to crack on with.

we are going to have to paper the walls and I had bought paper yonks and yonks ago so had to go dig that out to see if there was enough - that meant raking in the shed of doom:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I survived and found the wallpaper and my christmas decors - loads of stuff will have to be ditched from the shed because the roof is leaking badly - but will have to do that gradually on better days.
I had to cancel dietician and Maria because of the upheaval.
oh and the joiners fixed the wardrobe door so will be able to get stuff put away now.

havent managed anything else so better have a look at my list and see what i should be doing.
thanks for all you lovely words - I am much brighter today but tired - I was still awake about 2!!!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

    Hi there!

I missed most of last week's flying as I had my flu jab and then came down with flu like symptoms or whatever it was DS2 had.

Toots It sounds like you have got all your workmen organised. I wish I had you down here cracking the whip! Should you have been clearing out your shed? I haven't read back yet but love and hugs and prayers.

DS and I have had a busy morning and have finished the kitchen.
