Wooden floors - What are the decent brands?

Hi,

With so many wooden flooring available, I was wondering if anybody knows what are the best brands to look out for?

    You,ll do well to beat Junkers. Its solid timber, pre-finished and clips together with metal clips, basically its a floating floor (not fixed down) you allow a gap around the perimeter like many other laminate floors(most of which are wood effect or have a thin timber vaneer on a ply core, very stable)..

    With Junkers theres no sanding to do as its pre-finished but years down the line you can sand the floor and re seal it..
  • We've used Pergo wood flooring in our current and previous houses, its good as it doesnt scratch with the dog etc.
