good news from AA car loan claim

well at least i think its good news anyway...
recieved a letter from the Bank of Scotland saying that they have decided to 'pay me an amount which will put me back in the position i would have been in had i not taken the insurance'.
to me that sounds like i will get back all the insurance paid plus interest, or am i missing something?
anyway, they say that they will contact me with payment in the next month, so i've got my fingers crossed...

Yes it does seem this is the way they are refunding you.
If you can as well, ask them to send you a full detailed written breakdown, so you know what is what.;)
