Is Amazon Marketplace safe to buy from?

Hi Everyone,
I want to buy a DVD box set and the cheapest ive found is Amazon. I then found it £13 cheaper going through the marketplace
.
I've never bought from the marketplace and wondered if its safe in terms of if it goes wrong etc?
The seller has "just launched" and has no feedback but the item is listed as "new and in stock".
Is it worth buying from the marketplace or paying a bit more through Amazon?
Thanks!,
Nicole

In my experience, the marketplace is pretty safe. Delivery can be slower though, it all depends on the seller. If there's a problem with your item, Amazon offer a pretty solid complaints procedure. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Buy quite often from the marketplace - never had an issue. Sellers always keen to please, it seems.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
