HELP error message , what do I do, please?

When I try to go to my email in INCREDIMAIL a message comes up saying... "The IMNTUTIL.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6883 " However that file IS in c\windows\system.

Just found out that it is also happening to other programmes!! An error message said " Unable to load required DLL(sensor 32). A device attached to the system is not functioning. "
Can anyone ,please, help? I HAVE WINDOWS 98 SE

will cure all your ills

It's always causing problems

Have you just installed something that may have put a different version of this file on your system?

Do you have 98 CD or cabinet win98*.cab files on your system?

Hi, found my own solution , thank you all. I re-installed windows 98 . It worked.

Outlook or Outlook Express or Thunderbird.

You should have OE anyway and Thunderbird is here http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/
