I agree. Not so much about having a mail box - we had one. But more for how this suddenly appears in the story deus ex machina to make the landlord look even more evil

As I explained in my last post. You haven't got, and never had, any form of tenancy Agreement.

You had an unofficial arrangement.

It would be madness for an owner to give someone staying in an annex to their property a Tenancy Agreement. It would give the tennant all sorts of rights and make it almost impossible to sell the property.

It really is like a house owner giving a lodger in a spare bedroom legal rights to stay there, not be evicted and demand improvements to the bedroom.

Sorry, have I got this wrong, but landlord wants lodgers on his property, tries to ensure they have no rights whatsoever, but wants them to pay for some of his electricity use as well as their own?? Sounds like a lovely chap!

Deux es machina? This is the reality and we do not intend to make him look like evil. That's why the C.A.B. advisor said he had never met such situation.

I know it's unbelievable. I said we were forced to sign that agreement. I said we've been harassed. I said we are going to move out of here as soon as possible.

Surely if you now have a signed paper stating your are guests this would allow you to dispute your name on the Electricity bill.

Everything that landlord has asked us to do it is illegally. We went today to Housing Department. The Housing Department contacted the landlord and when we got back the lock from the gate was changed. Council representatives came here. They know the reality now.
Thanks for your reply. I was criticized for my English and my Latin. I accept that even if I just needed help. I give up and let the authorities to sort this out because they saw all the paperwork.
