new central heating

Does anyone with recent experience of a full installation of central heating?

It's a 3 bedroom house (3 rooms downstairs plus hall and downstairs loo, 3 rooms upstairs plus landing, bathroom and separate loo) so we would need a standard boiler, a new tank and 11 radiators and all pipe work

Many thanks

you dont need a new tank with a modern combi boiler.
shop around and you could get that all done for 2k/4k. uk average is approx 3k.
    depends where you live?

It's in Kent - and we want a standard boiler, not a combi boiler so we will need a tank

Good afternoon: get in RGIs for quotes...cost will be dependent on site conditions, your requirements and the standard of the specification...expect to pay more in the southeast.

Hi, again: forgot to include this link from the EST on the specification and installation of gas central heating. Make sure who ever does the job gives the system a proper chemical flush and adds central heating inhibitor to the system afterwards (all detailed in the boiler installation manual)....this is an area where some consumers and RGIs might take short cuts to reduce the price of the quote to the detriment of the CH system...many examples of this on the forum over the years.
