Hi all
I've just upgraded to the new version of the free PC Tools Firewall (I'm now on version 6.0.0.86).
Unlike the last version (v5), this one seems to take a while to initialise.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled just in case but it still seems to take a while to start up. It appears next to clock OK, but seems to stay black and while and showing initialising for quite a while.
Anyone else run across this problem?

Have you uninstalled the old version V5?0

When I goto my 'smart update' its still not showing version 6 which indicates to me that 6 isnt possibly working correctly:idea:0

Never thought of that. I used the FileHippo update checker and it told me that the newest version was V6 so I installed it.
IIRC, it uninstalled V5 itself before installing V6.
::edit::
If I uninstall V6, is there any way of keeping the current rules?
I really don't fancy having to tell it all over again about the programs I've got.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
