blocked websites through cashback sites

I'm still really struggling with problems from Kaspersky that have been ongoing for weeks now and one of the things has been that when I use a cashback site like Topcashback and click through about half the retailers are blocked. I get a new page and it says done but it is completely blank and the tab says 'gif' or image.
I have tried resetting my browsing security without success, I have even added the website addresses to the allowed list with no success. As I am not techie I just abandoned doing anything else, but having spent several hundred pounds online over the past few days for various people and not getting any cashback it is proving an expensive annoyance.
Is there a way round this that I am likely to understand, or am I stck with this until I can finally afford to dump Kaspersky and get another AVG?
