seeking advice on whirlpool type baths

Please excuse me if this isn't the appropriate forum for seeking such help, but I don't know where else to seek unbiased advice on the topic.

We're planning a new bathroom, and specifically trying to decide on the bath; I'm aware of the overall difference between whirlpool and hydrotherapy baths, but have been confusing myself with all the different options/differences between a bath from one supplier and another. I'm referring to such things as warm water recirculation, etc.

The bathroom is going to be a major expense anyway, so if paying for all the "best" features is worthwhile, then better that than wishing we'd spent the extra after the event; but I'm hoping there will be people on here who have had practical experience of such baths and can advise on whether, for example, they paid for features that in practice they never even use; or maybe have found certain features to be more trouble than they're worth.

Thanks in advance for sharing any info that will help!

I could have written that word for word :D
I think its been at least five years since I used mine. Have two daughters , they also don't bother. Glad it was in the house when we bought it , I can kid myself that I did not waste my money .
Trouble is , it still needs cleaning , dishwasher tabs every couple of weeks .

thanks for your comments, both of you; personally I can live without one, but the lady of the house is determined she wants one anyway, so who am I to argue. :)
