Tesco Value Mince is 50p for 500g in the Huddersfield store. Not sure if it's nationwide, although on the website it is showing £1.21.
Also to say it's Value, it is'nt bad quality at all!
We got a few and shoved them in the freezer.

Be careful when buying food with the word 'value' in, I remember hearing value meant that there is no more than 20% meat and that can include skin and muscle. Good price if your on a budget though.Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
I question how much of this mince is 'true' meat. As the poster before me mentioned, like cheap sausages and such, a lot of this is parts of the animal you wouldn't even feed to a pet. It's a good deal if you already buy that item but I urge anyone who can afford better, buy better... And if you can't afford better, how about having a few meat free meals? Save the money and buy better quality less frequently.0

I was brave and got some to try but wasnt brave enough to eat it after finding several white things in it ,kind of tubular and squidgy:eek:
Gave it to hubby tho ,he'll eat anything
Went off all Asda mince after finding several small bone particles and a piece of blue rubber
It was discovered ( by Asda) that the blue rubber was just a piece of rubber glove that must have got caught in the machinery .
Makes you wonder if the finger was in it ?!? :eek:0 -

Still £1.21 in Tesco Sandhurst. I admit I do use it, but then it is normally for something that the flavour of the meat would be smothered in anyway, like spicy meatballs and cottage pie (my versions smother the meat taste anyway!!).What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Don't buy this rubbish, the fat that comes out of this mince is unreal and all you are left with is a tiny bit of mince if you can call it mince. The tubes that are found are veins/arteries. Only fit for a dog really so beware.Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0
