Do I need additional sensor for my Owl CM119?

I just bought a new OWl to keep track of my electricity usage.
I am on economy 7, there are two cable into the meter. One is black, the other is red.
I can see from the data shown on the monitor that both cable are in use. Apparently, the black one is using "more electricity" than the red one.
My questions are:
1. Am I on "two phrase" system?
2. Should I get one additional sensor? If no, which cable should my sensor on, black or red?
Thanks

You are on a single phase domestic supply. The sensor clips over the red wire from the meter.
There is a quick start guide supplied with the Owl that explains exactly how to set it up.No free lunch, and no free laptop
