Abbey acknowledged financial hardship on 20/06/09 and agreed to refund £512 directly into the account. However this didn't happen and after lots of phone calls they said that rather than refund the money they would let us Accrue £512 worth of charges. This didn't happen either and theyhave continued to charge. I sent a letter at the end of September stating this a d have had no reply. With last weeks judgement do abbey still have to honour thAt letter? If so what is my next step As they have clearly ignored my last letter? Thanks in advance

Yes, I would take your case to the Financial Ombudsman now. Hardship is nothing to do with the test case, the only thing was the banks were forced to focus on it more during the test case, and couldnt use the waiver to avoid helping people.
How was the Accruing charges plan meant to help you ?LegalBeagles0
