Hi
After having a discussion with daughter we have decided to buy a gift of chickens this christmas for a family in Africa. I have googled it and there seems quite a few companies selling these gifts- Oxfam etc, oxfam seems cheap but seems to pool the money and buys what it thinks it needs, I have come aross goodgiftshop which promises to give chickens but charges £5 admin fee which seems steep to me. Has anyone given this type of gift before and who did you use? Any thoughts on who to go for?
thanks
Jim

My family has used WorldVision for this sort of thing in the past (it was the charity that started it I think - then apparently their marketing people moved to Oxfam, hence the marketing technique spread!).
