Oh no, that's bad that your photo gifts were lost too - I think they could have made an effort to re-do them - did you order them online? Is your S&G set a gift for someone else? Yes, I found the SAs instore helpful as well - the one I spoke to checked out back just in case it had come in.

Yes you can get a refund if you cancel the order, but you cant get a refund AND keep the set. Theres lots of reasons why it could be late, and it is just an "estimated" delivery date not the actual delivery date. Because of the weather alot of things have been put back!

Hey, I have not read this in a few days so enjoying catching up, I have just come on to say I have obviously been talking about the hat box FAR too much....my b/f was watching some random western today the man who shot liberty valance and there were these people sat really miserable and he said "Oh look that old man managed to get a hat box at Boots" LOL LOL I can't quite believe I managed to find a pic of it but here you go, enjoy, can you imagine my face LOL

i know!! my heart leaped when he said "hat box" (I don't know why, did I think he had bought me a second one as a surprise and decided to tell me sat on the sofa??) and then when I looked at the screen I was almost literally ROFL LOL I think the man looking so miserable makes it funnier!!!

Tesco couldnt redo my order as they didnt have the canvasses and other bits Id ordered instock (I ordered online) Fingers crossed my hat box will arrive, surely I cant be that unlucky that three orders go missing?!

I stayed up to order my hatbox online last Friday. My payment wouldn't go through but eventually managed to get my order through for one lovely hatbox at 2.30am. I had been dreaming about it the whole week beforehand and i'm still thinking about what it looks like.

My box has been waiting for me for collection at my local store since yesterday but i haven't been able to collect it yet because of me working late. Hopefully it's definitely there as i'm going to collect it tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for all the entertaining chat on the night. That holding page was there for hours!

I hope everyone who wanted one managed to get one and if not i hope you all get some lovely Xmas pressies to make up for it.

I bought S&G Hat Box for my friend for christmas as she was wanting stuff like mascara, pink lipstick. I thought well you can pay at least TEN POUNDS for each item so bought S&G. Was so dissapointed when I got it home as the plump lipstick was missing. I rung the same store up the same day and spoke to a very young SA who went to ask someone else about it. She said it was a limited edition and may not get any more in stock so therefore I had to choose from the normal lipsticks instead. The two I could choose from was clear or nude colour lip plumper. So I chose the nude colour and went and picked it up.

I am not happy about it though as I only really bought it for the pink shade of lippy. But in circumstances like this how do you prove the item wasn't in the box to start with. Wish I had my wits about me when I bought and I would have asked them to open it up and check all items for me.

I feel really bad now - I wasn't too fussed about getting a hat box until I read about it on here, TBH I'd never even heard of S&G... So after an impromptu visit to the Merryhill Centre today (I'd never been before and just decided to go by chance) I was shocked to find a stand of about 20 of the hat boxes in Boots... I got sweaty palms and started hyperventilating straight away and HAD to have one... MSE indeed- this site costs me a fortune :rotfl::rotfl:
