Just to let you know. The Boots at Fort Dunlop retail park in Birmingham (just off junction 5 M6) still had loads in at 2pm this afternoon but were expected to sell out soon. I hope that helps someone.

ETA: They also had hundreds of the Black case with the makeup in for £12.00 that some people wanted - was it No 7?

Best of luck as they were flying out like hotcakes, you could try and ring before making a special journey.

  • Woo hoo!!!!:j Got one of the elusive boxes in Leeds (Albion St) this morning. Felt a bit of a saddo racing down the street as I was sure there weren't going to be any left. Played it cool when we got in the shop until dh said "there's someone with one of those pink hat boxes" and then stopped pretending. They weight a tonne, don't know how anyone could buy more than 2! Mission complete and thanks to all, especially OP, for the heads up (wish I'd gone to bed on Friday now though!).

Update on my missing box - spoke to Boots this morning. The very very helpful guy said he would refund me, but I said I didn't want a refund, I wanted the missing box, especially as I was one of the very first online orders.

DH and I played a great game this morning - which DD wouldn't get a box if we couldn't get the last one!!!! I know she doesn't read this site, but it was DD aged 16 that wasn't getting it - as she got the X-Factor ticket (but don't tell her!!!)

He said they had absolutely none in the warehouse, and no more were ever coming in. The last deliveries went out to stores last night.

I asked him to find me one within a 50 mile radius of home and I'd collect it from in-store. He phoned me back as promised, and has got me one reserved.

They've also refunded delivery charges (just as well, as I now have to go 40 miles to collect!!)

I hope so much that people who are still looking manage to find one.

  • Was getting a little worried about my order which is due for collection on Wednesday so rang CS and the guy was really nice and fully assured me that my order is fine and i will be getting one YEY!!!! and it will show as dispatched tommorow or Tuesday. So glad after the farce that I had with the FCUK bag when they cancelled my order.

pleased you are getting your third box but you shouldn't have to drive miles to get it as it was their fault. A refund is no good when it is a gift. they don't leave any room for error if they are all sent out and no more coming in.

for all of us who are still waiting for despatch/delivery surely by now they must have at least allocated the boxes and informed people if they are over the number available and have had their order cancelled. i am trying to be optimistic...

mine has never recovered since the 75% day crash.

Last time I ordered anything from dot.com I had to use DD's details (with her full permission & co-operation) as my clubcard number is not recognised by their carpy system. As it is a very early clubcard, it seems Mr B doesn't appreciate loyalty
