Boots OOTW 18/12/09

I would love to know how much Boots have made off this deal. There's so many people going crazy over it (me included). I was thinking, during previous OOTW's that they should put the hatbox on the deal, since it's a bit steep at £50, but I didn't think they would, especially not to just £20.
I feel so lucky to have got one with such ease, after so many people are stressed waiting for theirs to be delivered or having to keep visiting the stores.:rudolf:

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread. I love S&G, having been given some for my birthday over 2 years ago and use lots of it regularly and give it for gifts too!

I couldn't stay up on Thursday night as it's our busiest time of year at work so was really tired and had to be in on Friday. Tried to get online when I work up but site was down. Took 1 1/2 hours to get to work yesterday morning (rather than 35 minutes as usual) so no chance to pop into store beforehand, and had to work through lunch. Popped on here a few times and saw info about website and that stores were selling out.

Managed to get off work at 4pm, got to York Monks Cross and saw someone walking out with one, rushed in and they had 2 big piles with a SA standing by them. Asked me how many I'd like, got me a trolley and was lovely - I told her I always used it and was sure they'd be out of stock by the time I got there - she said they had had 800 in and they'd be flying off the shelves.

So thank you to all those who shared information - the true spirit of MSE :-) I bet Boots and S&G will make a fortune on this in the long-term all the new S&G addicts it seems to have created!

My order still says processing, knowing my luck by the time they get to my order they will be all gone even though i was told 2 was allocated to me, lol

Hi, I ordered online yesterday at 7.26am and my order is still showing as processing.

However, managed to buy one this evening at the Merry Hill store:)

They had loads left at 7.30 tonight - at least 20, and closed at 8pm so should have some left for the morning. Hope this helps someone.

I ordered mine online Friday at 4.35am and Im having it delivered to my local Boots so Im keeping my fingers crossed I still get it

Have you tried the small stores like Eccles, Urmston etc. Also Traf Cent and gemini retail park, Warrington. Hope you find one

mine is the same but I've been told it will update to dispatched on Monday the day before it's delivered. I did ask if paypal had held it up at all and the guy I spoke to said no and that the system will stay with processing until the day before delivery.

Fingers crossed we get them !!
