  • Did they say which courier they use? Ihad a delivery early this week via home delivery network and they delivered at 8.30 pm the other night!!
    It is coming via DHL, did phone Boots earlier and they told me they do not deliver after 6pm, but who knows?
  • Looks like everyone who ordered by 6.15 is safe then, any later ones confirmed? It might help others to not worry so much?

    When i asked the gentleman said there is no problems it will arrive, he said to just go in store on wednesday i havent given a contact mobile number otherwise he said they will text to tell me. I am sure alot of us are worrying over nothing. Boots wont let us down :j

    Saw people walking around York with the hatboxes today. They may be some stores that still have a few. Might be worth a quick phone call??

    I think DHL are contracting out some of their parcels to 'the local ladies who do delivery in their spare time.'

    My son had a package from Boots reading something like out for delivery waiting for (???? IOD..something to do with signature/delivery) for 3 days the other week. :eek:

    We were a little concerned, but then at about 9.30pm there was a knock on the door from a lady with the parcel, saying sorry, I know it's late (at night I think she meant) but I thought you would be waiting for it.

    I'm saying this not to dishearten anyone about waiting time, but rather to say don't worry, I'm sure it will turn up soon.

    OMG!!!!

    I was another 2:30 a.m. orderer and paid for next day delivery! 2 x boxes arrived today, I said to the courier - is there a third .... he said no.

    I opened up the boxes about 15 mins ago and inside is 2 hatboxes, but the invoice says that there should be 3 inside the box. There is no way that 2 hatboxes could fit into the delivery boxes, they're only big enough for one each anyway.

    Does any of this make sense???

    Argghhhhhhh!!!!!!! :eek::eek::eek:

    I'll be phoning them first thing in the morning. Do you think it's fair to ask for my next day delivery charge back .... after all they've not all been delivered!!!

    Thanks again. I've just sent you a message

    Ordered at 02.30 friday morning and paid extra for saturday delivery. Was loaded onto delivery van at 8.50 this morning but no sign of it yet. Probably too late for it to be delivered now. Will phone up boots tomorrow!!!

    I got a delivery earlier this week (not from boots) that came at about 9pm. Couriers are working late, so you may get it today yet! :)
