Boots OOTW 18/12/09

Oooooh Im so annoyed about this. I spent ages last night(early hours) and this morning trying to get on the damn website.
Im ill so I cant get out, and Stockport Peel center Boots is a waste of time on a normal day, so theres no point looking.

I can just imagine though, everyones been rushing to get these, and tomorrow they will release 2364936497647363 more online :rotfl:

I don't know if its the same in other stores, but by 2pm today at Nottingham Vic Centre store, the OOTW was only the NO17 vanity, no sign of any S&G hatboxes. The No17 vanity cases were literally all over the shop though .

where did you hear that? looking at what had been happening with the website i wondered whether they hadn't infact run out of stock but that the technical issues were so bad they're on order only from store, as someone mentioned earlier

if i don't get mine i shall be mighty miffed - my order went through at 2:10am with some other things but it's still showing as processing, but i'm presuming that's because of the other bits and pieces i ordered and opting for standard delivery

tried that, didnt work for me....had it in my basket but went when l went to checkout saying out of stock. Cant believe i got to putting my card details in and clicking place order before the paged dropped so many times this morning and l didnt get it. Gutted!

Oh wasn't it great on here last night! It was just like in the Good Ol' Days on the Grabbit thread!

So glad that so many people have been successful, :jand fingers crossed for those who are still hoping to get one.

May I just offer a teeny weeny bit of advice please? If you have been lucky enough to get one, not only for yourself, but also for each of your 4 sisters, 3 sisters-in-law, Mum, MIL and best friend, oh, and your 6 most favourite cousins, pleeeeeeeeeeeease don't post about it! :eek:

A lot of people would have been just hoping for one, and having read about someone elses 2 dozen, and been unsuccessful themselves, arguments can start, and the thread gets closed down.

For all BVs (Boots Virgins!) who previously had never sat up half the night to order online, or worked themselves into a frenzy, wondering if they can get to the stores, you have now been Officially Deflowered! :T

And it's all good practice for the 75% sale!

Thanks for that, i only wanted one as my mum can't get out to by any Christmas presents and she wanted to buy me that but everywhere i've been has sold out!

I always seem to get emails from Money Expert late, i got the email about 7am, if i'd have got it earlier i could have tried online too.
