Boots OOTW 18/12/09

I called the Loughborogh store today and they had sold out of all their hatboxes by 1pm. The guy I spoke to didn't think that they would be getting anymore. He reccommended that I rang Leicester Fosse Park.

So I rang Fosse Park and spoke to a girl on the phone, she told me they had 900 in store today. At the time of speaking (1:30pm) there were 100-150 left, and they didnt expect them to last until 3pm. She said "they are flying off the shelves".

However, she did tell me that they are getting another delivery tonight, so there will be fresh stock for tomorrow morning, and Saturday evening, in time for Sunday morning. She said to make sure I come early to ensure I am able to get one.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the store I'm talking about... It is a really large store... so if you have a large store near you, I would guess it is likely to be the same scenario.

I got four at the Oxford retail park this morning, one for me, one for my sister, one for mum and one for a girl from work who wanted one but couldnt get out to a boots. Thanks so much for letting me know about this! I love it! There were LOADS, all over the store at 11am this morning and noone seemed to be taking any interest apart from me with my trolley piled high!

Warrington Gemini had a huge stack when I went this morning but it would be worth a call as there was some on the general 3-4-2 section. They also had No 7 vanity cases (filled) from £30 to £12.
Trafford centre seemed quietish... not as bad as weekends are.

I was one of the 'saddies' that stayed up last night- it got to 1.30 and I went to bed- OH woke me up at 5.30am and I bought one online.... didn't know but my mum got me one at 5.00am too.

Had to go to our local shopping centre walked past Boots and they had some left at lunch... feel a bit stooooopid I stayed up all night but glad I got 2 and the banter here last night was fab!

Noticed some of you in the North are having trouble finding these, have rung Chester's main store and they still have some in stock.

Hope that helps someone, no idea if they are taking reservations, seems to be a lottery when it comes to that.
