Does anyone know of any good websites that will giv step by step guide to repairs on cars.
Our indicator unit came out of the car on the motorway so DH went to a breakers yard to pick up a new unit but can't find how it fixes in at all. He has Googled and Googled and can't find any instructions on how it fixes in and what to seal it with. It is a Rnault Grand Espace.
So does anyone know of a good website whre we can ask th question ad get an answer or a sit that explains how it fits in.
Many thanks.

You mean the actual indicator light next to the headlight? Not the indicator stick on the steering column?
Whichever you mean, refitting is a reversal of removal, just remove the duff one and refit the new one in reverse order. It all comes down to logic and a bit of common sense.

As one of yours has gone missing have a look at how the other side is fixed, they are often held in with a spring and as yours fell out it could well be the spring has gone missing too0

Can't do that as it is some where on the motrway. The whole light fitting just came out and DH can't figure out by just looking how the other side fits in.0 -
Thanks Keith, but I don't do Ebay as we have had so many problems with it. Also we need to get it fixed asap as DH needs to drive to work on Monday and it will be very difficult with no indicator. Thre are also no car shops ie Halfords near to us either, we are a bit out in the sticks.0 -
Thanks Bryan have emailed that link to DH, so hopefully we will get an answer.0 -

So just reverse along the motorway and wait for an indicator unit to jump into the car.:rolleyes:0 -
Perhaps you could just wire it up and tape it in place with duct tape until you can find the answer?0
