Argos Delivery Service

Ordered a big double wardrobe on line. A week or so later a phone call to offer a delivery date. Day of delivery another phone call to say it would be 15 minutes...gave me time to get dressed.
Asked the 2 chaps if they would take it upstairs for me, they did willingly although neither of them was in the 1st flush of youth. Gave them a fiver, but frankly the wardrobe was already where I wanted it before I offered dosh.
Excellent service Argos...I will order from you again.

thing is, when they get it right (very rare but even less likely for smaller goods) they do get it right but take it from someone who used to have to deal with the mess ups and problems.
nice to hear some good about them though0 -
Another thumbs up for Argos. Last Sunday morning I ordered a bed. Had a phone call the same afternoon asking when did we want it delivered. I said Friday pm. At 1 o'clock that day had a phone call from the delivery driver saying he would be with us in 30 minutes. Sure enough he was on time. Pleased with the bed ; a flat-pack pine double with four draws. It took me about three hours to assemble it, but the instructions were first class and easy to followWhat part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Lucky you! I wanted to order 2 beds and was told delivery would be 35 - 40 days!!!!!!!!!! Told them to forget it. Went into town on Monday, ordered a bed, it gets delivered tomorrow! I give up with Argos and home delivery. It always seems to be a long waitNice to save.0

thats because a lot of our beds (especially the more expensive/better quality beds) are made individually to order, not to maintain stock levels which will spend weeks/months sat in a factory.
our lead time is something we are working on, as it is one of our biggest customer gripes :beer:know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
