  • yep of course, but prob not as much as you think, youd get a lot of hours out of 2gb but I guess it depends what else ya doing.

Getr a netmonitor program to see exactly whats coming in and out and work out what you can do per day.

2gb is like 60mb a day which is fine for most casual users

Thanks I have downloaded netmonitor. I use the internet about 5 hrs a day for browsing or emailing, and recently listened to music. I do not download music etc. I just do not want to go over the 2gb. Thanks

Not able to register netmonitor but have managed to download it. Does not understand what that means kbytes sent 101.58 received kbytes 140.32. Transfer rate 182.05KB. Is this good or band. Not able to check connection true speed although it is showing on my computer, I cannot click on the run test, the egg timer is still showing and will not let me click. Hope this makes sense to somebody as I do not understand anything about all this. Thanks

BT Yahoo are crap, its ridiculous that any company is still offering a 'service' (and i use that term very loosely) with a usage limit. BT Yahoo are a rip off for what they offer, look around and you can get unlimited sownloads for much cheaoper than BT. That way, no more worrying about how much you use the net.

Very few ISP's now offer unlimited downloads, alot say unlimited and yes they are but during peak periods they manage your bandwidth and slow your connection down the big problem is that some class peak between 8am and 11pm or you get full speed untill you hit the limit say 2GB and then your bandwidth/speed is reduced for the rest of the month.

I use alot of date transfer 180GB a month and BTyahoo got annoyed at me I had been a customer of them for years since I was on the dialup paying £17.50 a month and still paying for the calls and have upgraded as they have become available. I am now on the business side of BT (btconnect) as they have no limits on those products, yes they are slightly more expensive but and the true unlimited ISP's are not much cheaper.
