i have 2 questions that i was wondering if any one could give me the answer too

1. If i connect a mouse keyboard & 2 identical scanners to a computer via a USB hub how many IRQ assignments will i need.

2. Apart from the 400 MHz Pentium 2 processor which out of the following pentiumm 2 processors 233 MHz, 266 MHz, 300 MHz, 333 MHz also has a 100 MHz system bus speed i've checked on the intel web site and none appear to have that speed yet i'm being told that one of them does

As far as I'm aware only the USB controller itself requires genuine IRQ assignments. My USB mouse doesn't take an interrupt itself, it's done through the controller.

Don't know about the P2 bus speeds, but I would expect any of the 300+ MHz processors could manage 100MHz bus speed.

You won't need to "sort out the IRQ's" your O/S will do that for you..not sure why you want to connect "2 identical scanners" but every one to his / her own,,, Good Luck

I assume from the above (point 1) that you're running either win95 or win98? Could you clarify? Thanks

these 2 questions are from a mock exam paper that i'm doing and most questions like the usb one are based on windows 98
