I've been contacted by 1stcallclaims regarding claiming back excessive PPI charges. They are wanting to charge me £75.
Can anyone tell me how they have got so many of my personal details? They were able to tell me all my bank details etc.
Thanks

Hi there
And welcome.;)
If you have taken out loans, mortgage or any finance over the last 6 years then everything of your accounts are held on data, its not really difficult for them to get hold of these details really, and another reason is, when you apply for finance normally on application forms there's a part to tick if you don't want to be contacted in the future, don't know if that rings the bell with you.
However, if you have anything to reclaim, due to being mis sold ppi etc, your in the right place here for free help, templates the lot etc, apart from the posting with stamps lol.
If this is the case please ask for help here, and you may also be aware that the majority of these cold calls, they also charge you, where again if you do this yourself with help from this site, you get to keep all your refund if successful.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
