Scruples. And the complete lack of them.

ASQ.
"Hi can you discount this watch as it is a present for a disabled child and i need to save as much money as possible"

No please or thank you, or punctuation!

My response.
"I too have a disabled child of my own, so every penny I earn has to go towards his care and christmas presents. As a parent of a disabled child yourself, I'm sure you can understand this, so I would apprecaite it if you would pay the full price as advertised, as it is after all helping another disabled child."

Added to BBL, but I am sickened that people use this as a weak and ill-thought out excuse for saving money. Although I do not have a disabled child, I do know people who do, and I have NEVER known them to use it as an excuse to seek a discount on anything, or as an excuse why they were late, why they forgot about something etc. If anything, the really play down the disability issue.

Some people really have no morals or scruples.

I'm shocked I'm disabled, and get discounts where I can. That's why I buy on ebay, because stuff's already so much cheaper. Using it as an excuse to try and squeeze even more off is disgusting. If my disability causes a problem then I use it as an explanation (ie, sorry have to cancel today I'm just not well enough), but to use it as an excuse like that is just disgusting.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I get the sentiment of your post, but it's a shame you had to stoop to their level to prove your point ;)

I think they have about as many scruples as you do ;)

Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
