Advice needed please! Help with credit card question

Hi, I just want some advice for my mum. My dad has a Lloyds TSB Credit Card which he's had for years and I think he owes around £10,000 on. He was paying protection payments for years but mum has just found that he has cancelled these payments which in the event of his death, the debt would be wiped out. Now she is worried that if anything was to happen to my dad she would be liable for the debt. I must add that the debt is in my dads name only.
Can anyone please tell us where she would stand if the situation was to arise?
Thank you in advance.

The bank would be able to claim from your father's estate, but your mother would not be liable. If they own their home then you need to consider what to do about it (and sorry, but I don't know).0
