Can I get some advice please...

Morning all!

Receieved a letter in the post this morning which was sent on the 3/12/09. It was a congratulations letter to state I had won a pair of tickets to see a musical on the 4/12/09. I signed for the letter this morning therefore missing my prize.

Do you think I can do anything about this?

I emailed Suffolk Free Press and also Edwin Mutton last week to see if I can do anything about this. Edwin has responded that he has contacted them and will get back to me soon! How exciting! xxx

I would say you definitely can do something about it. Contact the promoter of the comp. either by email or phone and explain that you received tickets for a show the day after the date of the performance. I am sure they will send you out further tickets for a different date, of if this is not possible, offer you an alternative prize. I appreciate you won the prize, but even so, if you had ordered them and paid for them, you would definitely be complaining that the tickets arrived too late. Tickets received for a show a day too late is no use to man nor beast. The promoters should be able to check with the delivery firm when you signed for the letter.
