  • Wow! I have just ordered over 50 items for my sister who makes cards and is really into crafty things like this. She is half way through her chemo for breast cancer and therefore is off work and these items will keep her busy/distracted so I cannot thank you enough Confuzzled :T

Great value on the wooden stamps!! I've spent many an hour wandering around craft shops looking at those and they're usually around a fiver each aren't they?! It was too late to text/ring her and I could see things selling out so hopefully I've got a good selection.

I found it quite amusing how you can't check out unless you've given a safe place to leave your package if not at home, lol! Quite insistent on that detail, haha. ;)

Thanks Confuzzled, 62 items for £18.60 :) Will keep my 3 year old in stickers for a while - they work out less than naff ones from the cheapie shop! And our Christmas cards next year should be fabulous (if I can just remember where I've put it all....) lol.

Trying to resist the temptation but it's not easy! I'm hoping that some of my neighbours will want to order some too so we can share p&p. Thanks for the tip off.

awww bless! i'm really happy that i could help out your sister in that respect, i hope having the extra craft items to play with will help take her mind off things a bit, i'm sure she'll really appreciate this gift from you!

you're right many stamps are at least a fiver though i often see them going for more than that. i took advantage of some of those myself! i only have a few ink pads but if you're quick doing it you can use felt tip markers to colour the various parts of the stamps and do a muli coloured version... i have an 8 year old in the house so i have no shortage of felt tips! :p

Please can someone tell me what 'clear' stamps and stamp pads are and is there a difference between those and the ordinary stamps that you use inked pads with?

    TIA

no it's been awhile since i've done all this card making stuff but the clear stamps are clear acrylic so you can see where you're stamping (vs the normal rubber stamp on a wooden mount) they can be used with ink pads or with felt tip markers (that takes a steady hand and you have to be quick) but they are used the same though i can see them being easier to work with

Thanks a lot. Don't do much card making, but like to have a dabble occassionally. Thanks for the tips.

Thanks for that one - spent £20 on a fantastic box of goodies for my mum's Xmas present this morning - she's well into this sort of stuff.
