Weekend 5th/6th Decemeber - What small DFW things will you do this weekend?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
I'm back!!:rotfl:(ooooh, now did you notice I'd gone?!!)
Saw there was no thread yet today so thought I'd join in again! I'll post my list in a mo....need to get the girls organised and out of the house......:eek:
Ok.....finally got back on here:D
Sorry I disappeared....I lost enthusiasm for a while and was spending too much time posting on here! But....I did keep up my MSE-ness, so not all bad.
I'll be back starting the thread if I'm first around in the mornings, but I mustn't spend too long using smilies and making it look pretty....tell me off if I do
Ok, here's my list for today:
to any new posters - come in a join us, we're a friendly bunch, honest;) (Totally crazy too.....yes Fay, I do mean you:rotfl::rotfl:)
Hope you're all ok......big hugs to you if you want/need any (and they're sparkly hugs too....how appropriate!!)
Bye for now!!!

Yay, Milly's back!! :T
Good morning everyone!
I've been havng dramas this morning, got up about 7.30 am to go to the loo and the blo*dy thing blocked!! So had to get OH up (he was delighted as I'm sure you can imagine) and do a mad dash to B&Q to buy a plunger. OH wouldn't go near it though so I had to do the unblocking, feeling very independent now!
So after that drama, I'm hoping the rest of the weekend will be a bit quieter. I'm feeling a bit better today anyway thanks to an early night and a good nights sleep.
My list- Check banking
- Pay dentist refund cheque into bank
- Wash hair, do hair removal-deforestation type thing, paint nails

- Change bedsheets in spare room
- Meal plan and shopping from plan

- Left over pizza for lunch and dinner from plan

I've done the washing at 30 degrees on the time save setting - everything is now over the heaters so that I can get them ironed and put away tonight;
Cleaning will also be done today;
Bought 2 books from charity shops to keep me amused over Xmas and New Year - managed to get one that I'd looked for on Ebay and Amazon which was around £4.50 for £2;
Checked my Quidco account and I'm due payments totalling £145 in January and February;
Watching some recorded TV today;
Will try and fix the black screen of death on the home PC (currently on MAC!);
Have now reached the magic £10 target on Valued Opinions so will be getting a wee treat for myself soon;
Put £2 in the piggybankAlmost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0
