Stacking fridge & freezer advice

I have been given a lovely matching pair of an under worktop fridge & freezer.

My friend has them stored in the garage until i am ready and they are stacked on top of each other. It looks great and would much better suit my needs if i could put them in my kitchen this way.

Is there any sort of kit i need to buy or anything i need to do to be able to stand one on top of the other. The plan is to have the fridge on top.

afaik there are no kits (as such) made.
just do it. a plywood spreader plate would be good idea. to spread the load.
    (cut to size).

    possible safety issue.
are there children in the house?
maybe a problem with the door open and a poss danger of pulling it over?
    Get some gorm.

We have ours sort of stacked, but we do have a worktop between them, they sit between a wall and a unit so fixing a worktop was easy. We have the freezer below and have removed its own top to keep the height down (it is designed to be removed if required) as I am not tall. The fridge is just freestanding on the worktop. No problems with stability.

Cool, i am sure i have some wood to spread the load. I might even have a bit of wood worktop left which might look good.
No safety issues here, only the one that its always nearly empty.

Like Jennifer, a place i used to rent years ago had freezer standing on floor.. Small worktop supported by wall and an end-panel i think (was about 10 years ago so memory a bit sketchy) and then fridge on top of worktop.
