Hi can anyone please tell me what happens when FOS pass a case onto an adjudicator and how long it should take to be resolved? Thanks

Hi Robbie, has your case been passed then? Is this the one from BH or another one?robbiewilliams wrote: »Hi can anyone please tell me what happens when FOS pass a case onto an adjudicator and how long it should take to be resolved? Thanks
It usually takes about 6 weeks for the adjudicator to make a decision and then if you win another few weeks for the firm to make the redress (which is usually to put you back into the position as if you never had the PPI). It can take longer in some cases if the firm does not co-operate though in sending information to the adjudicator but this is rare so if you say up to a couple of months maybe that would be average.

Hi this is my other one with Welcome but FOS are going for the underwriter - Aviva. Thanks. I think they have all relevant paperwork, so is it just a matter of them investigating further and reaching a decision?0

Good luck on this then. I know of a couple this week posting winning against Aviva with Marks and spencer so things are actually moving with this insurer.;)robbiewilliams wrote: »Hi this is my other one with Welcome but FOS are going for the underwriter - Aviva.
