Have I Got This Right?

First time poster, so hello!
Been a bit lax recently in keeping costs down. Im currently with Virgin broadband. I signed up to them years ago as they were the only option at that time and never bothered to change. Im also with Sky+HD.
Im going to cancel the Virgin and go with Sky broadband. The base package will be free if I sign up to Sky Talk.
Am I right in thinking I should set it up as follows. I should keep my BT line rental and set it up to online bills only costing £11.25 a month.
I then have two options for Sky Talk. 1.)I can get Sky Freetime for nothing which has free landline calls at evenings and weekends. I can then add the base broadband for free. 2.) As I am a SkyHD customer I can get the Unlimited package free for 6 months then £5 a month i.e. £2.50 a month over 12 months contract. This gives me free calls to UK landlines anytime plus unlimited Intl calls. Again I can add Base broadband for free.
Im edging towards the Unlimited package at the discounted rate. Does this sound ok?
As for broadband, I stream all of my music via Spotify so the download allowance of 2GB might not be enough. However, Im sure Sky wouldnt mind if I rang them in a month or two and upgraded to Everyday for £5 a month?
As I still pay BT line rental I can make use of the CPS providers. I would dial 1280 to go back to BT for any 0845 numbers I had to ring and 18185 for mobile calls.
That's a bit long winded but it has helped get it clear in my head. Can you spot anything I've got wrong or overlooked?
I reckon I'll save £15 a month over what Im currently on plus whatever I save on call charges. It's a start!
P.S. Sky have a £60 fee for the broadband which I assume is for the 'free' wireless router. Does anyone know a way around this? Can they be bargained with over the phone?

If you cps your calls to sky you cant use the 1280 facility to hop back to BT.

Hi tony-cluedo
Why don't you give Sky a call and ask them what they will offer you? They should offer you a deal to move from Virgin. Why do you want to keep line rental with BT? Would it not be easier to move that to Sky too? It's £11.00 per month and they may well do you a deal to move that too.

Had a bit more of a read round this morning.
As regards leaving my line rental with BT, it means that should 1280 or some other method come back in use I can take advantage of it. With on-line billing it's the same price as Sky anyway.
As 1280 is not available my calls would be used as such. With the Sky Talk Unlimited I would make all Landline calls through it. Comparing mobile costs Sky charge 9.18 daytime and 5.51 weekend on the unlimited package which is cheaper than 18185.co.uk so again I would use Sky for this.
From the Sky Talk tariff guide (sky . com / Assets / PDF / StaticFiles / 5434510 . pdf) it appears calls to 0870 numbers are free. They charge 6p/min for 0845 numbers so in this case I would use 18185.co.uk as they will charge 3p/min.
So in summary I am using Sky Talk for everything bar 0845 numbers.
I'll have to ring them and discuss the installation fee for the broadband and see if there is anything I can do about it.0
