not having an HP myself i can't tell you for sure, but there might be a HP icon in the toolbar that you can right click on, or alternately go Start > Settings > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes , and your HP printer should show up there so you can access it's options

This should have been installed from the CD that came with the printer, when you first set it up. Is there a folder in Start, Programs? Or a printer icon in the right hand of the taskbar?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

i have an HP all in one.... the toolbox should be in your start menu or your desktop, its a little blue logo. If not install it again, you then calibrate by scanning the page your printer prints... of course, if you dont have an all in one, i dont know

Hey Parsnips,
If you click on 'Start' then go in to 'Settings' and then double on where it says 'Printers & Faxes' you should see you're printer displayed. If you then right-click on your printer and select 'Properties' you will then see a window giving you a load of options/settings for your printer. Look at the tabs at the top of that window and click on the one called 'Maintance' or 'Toolkit' are similar. From there you will see how to calibrate the print head.0
