Carers Allowance

I know carers allowance is not quit a benefit but does anybody know the answer to this :-savings themselves have nothing to do with claiming above but does the interest count towards the £95.00 a week figure ? I would of thought not just like a personal pension does not. I have looked and looked on the internet but the answer I cannot find. Anyone, thanks.
