If the new fund doesn't perform, at least in the short term, what will that do for Jupiter's, Hargreaves & Gibbs reputation?

On the back of such a strong HL recommendation it may also disenfranchise lots of core supporters.

I'm staying out too - Roger Guy's Gartmore Euro Abs Alpha hasn't done much and that was strongly backed (shouldn't have moved my money from Euro Special Opps).

This is just about getting unbearable. I remember moaning about the sell, sell, sell with Blackrock, but this one takes the biscuit. Their publications, flyers, emails flogging this are getting on my nerves. I used to think their interests and mine were aligned through their trail commissions but now I think they are on a different tack altogether.
Add Mr Hs THREAT to leave the country that allowed him to become rich beyond the dreams of avarice if he has to pay his share of tax ... but that's just a bee in my bonnet.

The irony is the ticking of the box for paperless service, just means you don't receive the important stuff but are still inundated with all the spam  a nuisance.

Just phone up and ask to be opted out of all advertising. Within a month you will get nothing.

  • Thanks for the commments.
Still not sure what to do... but a bit wiser now about H-L tactics!
  • Will this trade at a single price, or a seperate buy - sell price?

    Would think bid/offer
