Susy, people usually ask the EA for guidance.
Obviously your offer price, proof of deposit and or mortgage.
Your position in terms of whether you have a place to sell or not.
28 days is a very short time (about 20 working days) so you will need to chase your Solicitor constantly and not leave anything to chance. You might want to consider using couriers for example to collect the land registry and other documents.
Ive bought quickly myself in the past but I promise you it is pretty stresful.
Good luck0 -
I cant tell you what they need, but I can tell you that you will need to be on the ball, totally organised and be willing to live and breathe the paperwork applications, phonecalls etc.
I'm pushing through trying to complete 2 mortgages on separate properties in three weeks from start to finish and it is very stressful. We love the property we are buying so I am willing to take on the work.
Start by speaking to the Estate agent and find out everything you need, then I would contact a broker, explain everything to them and they should be able to help. There are a few mentioned by Martin within the mortgage section.
Good luck!0 -

Totally off your thread... but Hello Sue!
Funny seeing you here!
I'm surprised we get any work done with all this malarky.
