Which wireless router do we need please???

Hi all

As this seems to always be the font of all things IT/techie on the WHOLE of the internet, can I ask your collective advice please?

A friend uses Virgin media for her internet. She has the old Virgin black upright 'router' (I think it is).

She wants to swap it for a wireless router where she can run more than one PC (obviously using a wireless adapter).

1. Can she just swap out the old Virgin router and put in the new one?
2. Which or what wireless router does she need and can anyone recommend one please?

Cheers all

You have not stated if this is Virgin cable or Virgin ADSL.

    It's Virgin cable.

If Virgin won't supply one for free, then any of these here are suitable.
