Would you rearrange kitchen to fit in a fridge freezer?

We're currently doing up our house to sell. The kitchen is in reasonable condition, but at the moment only has room for an under cabinet fridge and freezer. We need a new work top, and we'll re-do the tiles, so should we also try to make space for a fridge freezer?

It's a small kitchen, so I can't afford to lose any cupboard space. I've thought of a solution that will utilise some wall cabinets as floor cabinets (without loss of storage), but is this more hassle than it's worth? (It'll also involve altering the plumbing of the washing machine)

Will people be put off by the lack of space for a fridge freezer, or should I just stick with the current layout?

Thanks.

Not knowing what your kitchen looks like, age etc, its possible that whoever moves in to your house may well refit the kitchen so you may be throwing good money after bad. At least you have a fridge and a freezer which is what people will expect. Not everybody wants a fridge freezer and if the kitchen is small, then a f/f may dominate the room making it look smaller than it is. I would stick with the situation you have and just do the basic amount of work to make the house sellable.

Personally I'd stick with the current layout. Often in a small kitchen a fridge freezer can make the room look smaller & why pay out for a new appliance that you don't need anyway? At least you have room for a seperate fridge & freezer & some small kitchens don't even have that, allowing only for a fridge.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

i would leave as is. as long is space for a fridge and a frezzer then your covered its when you havent got room for both then your knackered. question is if you where buying a house would it stop you buying it? answer probably not you would just go buy some new appliances i would.
think yourself lucky i had to redesign and build a whole new kitchen because my wife wanted a dishwasher and because when orginal kitchen built admittedly 18yrs ago and was due a change, they had wasted about 5-10cms with counter length to fit it in!

Thank you everyone. Looks like it'll be staying as it is then!
