Presents for primary school children?

I'm currently undertaking a placement at a primary school and it will be finishing next week and I would like to get each child something.
I've seen some books that would be 75p per child but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas that were slightly cheaper then this?
Any thought would be helpful!
Thanks!

I have often given children little polished stones (eg tigers eye, crystals, fools gold) bought for around 50p each from places like Evolution or other gift shops. Children seem fascinated by them and love collecting them.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

You could make them up a little gift bag each with a pencil, rubber, stickers & a few choc coins or sweets in?
Buy everything in big packs from poundland/Wilkinsons/Asda etc; you can get christmassy or sparkly pencils, put in clear plastic bags with a bit of bright ribbon.0 -
I have 36 children in my class and I've bought them all a gift from Baker Ross. They sell in bundles so make it a lot cheaper. For example I bought 48 Christmas rubbers for £10.08. I also bought them a scratchie board each and that was £10.20 for 36. So, for 36 children I have spent just over £20 which is the best I have ever done.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

I am a classroom assistant with 21 children in my class. I got felt tips in pound shop at 3 packs for £1, set of 5 fancy exercise books for £1.50 per pack and bubbles at £1 for 6 - total for each child 78pIf my post helps you, please click the 'thanks' button. :T0

If you get food items, could you please check to see if any children in your class have restricted diets. It can be upsetting for children if everybody gets something, but it's something that they can't themselves eat.0

My son (and his class) got a bookmark last year from their teacher, it was one she had done on Word I think and put a personal message on it and the date, and laminated them. Ds loved it and still uses it regularly

Instead of buying each child a present why don't you get something like a set of books which can be kept by the school in the classroom you were associated with. You could put a dedication on them and that way the whole school will remember you were there. You could then give each kid a nice Christmas card.0
