Do you think I will be able to change gas provider?
Hi there everyone!
Hope someone could point me in the right direction?
I've just finished paying off debt on my Gas Bill :j by prepayment meter with Scottish Power. I get no benefit from having duel fuel as my elctric meter is paying off debt with Scottish power as well, which will take a while.
My question is, do you think any other companies will take me on either on a meter, or other billing methods? I'm just considering whether I'll be able to switch or not. Will other companies turn me away because I have a meter/had one, and which provider out there is the best one at the moment(If Applicable?)
Ta very much in advance!:D

You *may* be able to switch your gas, but only to another prepay imho, and if you wanted a conventional meter, you would most likely have to pay for the meter and give a security deposit against defaulting on the bill upfront before they would take out the prepay. Others here may have more positive advice however.0
