Peugeot gear stick siezed

I was driving and suddenly the gear stick in my Peugeot siezed. I managed to pull over and got towed home. I think it is the gear stick linkage that has siezed. Does anyone have any idea how much I am looking at to get it repaired roughly?

Wont have just suddenly seized, it will have come off, broke, snapped etc.0
