Gas Cooker - top oven not getting hot enough- Tips for solving ?

Can anyone help?
The top oven isn't getting as hot as it should (as it was until last week).
The flame at the back is burning blue, I can't see if there is any difference to before.
DH wonders if the burner is dirty/bunged up with cleaning stuff (I have a cleaning lady who LOVES cream cleaner and spray on stuff. Brings her own, and I wonder if she's bunged it up)
The cooker is only about 2 years old.

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Good morning: annual servicing by a RGI.

Canucklehead, your suggestion seems a good one. However, So far, all the guys I've rung on on the RGI list don't 'do' cookers. Yes they'll install them, but don't get involved in service or maintenance for them. One guy suggests that I 'sling it out', get new. Ican't afford to replace a cooker that cost £450 just 2 years ago.I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.
