How much gas do you think I used?

I lived in a flat that had all inclusive bills, with the agreement that either I or the landlord would reimburse for any bills that were more or less than estimated.
I lived there between November 2008 and May 2009. The total time spent there was 7 calendar months and one week. The flat is a small one bedroom flat, although single glazed, and I had a combi boiler set to heat the flat between 19:00 and 00:00 and between 07:00 and 09:00. The cooker was electric.
6 months after I moved out, the landlord claimed that he had received a bill basically saying that I owed him £200. On top of what I already paid, that makes about £500 for the 7 month period.
Do you think that is possible? It's not like I was wasteful. I have since moved to another flat in the same block (although I am now on npower and not EDF) and I just received a bill for £60 for 3 months, based on meter readings. I've had the heating on for the last month with the same settings and I have a gas cooker that I use daily.

£500 for 6/7 months in winter is very high, but not impossible.
Depends on the standard of insulation, efficiency of boiler, baths/showers, temperature of rooms. etc
Why not simply ask to see the bills?0
