Hello alirob 12
I'll move your thread to the 'Motoring, Public Transport & Cycling' board.

this will be theyre own scrapage scheme offering the 2k reduction on secondhand/pre reg and of course the government scrapage on new cars.
a garage dealer near me (south wales) does it but limited time only.0 -
just go to the auction, you'll see a real discount there mate. but go to a large auction, BCA springs to mind. you can buy for a massive discount.0

Not at all, my experience @ BCA is that you will end up paying what you can buy privately for. The difference is that privately you'll get a test drive, and some road tax. Always go private before trying auction.0 -

Indeed, it is kids stuff really, add on £3000 to the price of the heap, give the mugs a £2000 " scrappage allowance ".. punter walks away with a " Bargain " dealer laughs all the way to the bank.:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
The whole point of the scrappage scheme is to boost the sales of new cars.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
