I wanna buy a used car with the scrapage scheme??

hi, I heard on the radio an ad advertising a local showroom/used cars garage offering 2nd hand cars with the 2k scrapage scheeme. Is that right? I would like a 2-3 yr old car and i have an old car I could use to get 2 k off? Any ideas any one?

Think the government scheme is only on new. This may be their own scheme.

a garage dealer near me (south wales) does it but limited time only.

just go to the auction, you'll see a real discount there mate. but go to a large auction, BCA springs to mind. you can buy for a massive discount.

Not at all, my experience @ BCA is that you will end up paying what you can buy privately for. The difference is that privately you'll get a test drive, and some road tax. Always go private before trying auction.

i'm guessing the garage in question is CarCraft...? Whose cars are over priced by £3000 to start with anyway...

Indeed, it is kids stuff really, add on £3000 to the price of the heap, give the mugs a £2000 " scrappage allowance ".. punter walks away with a " Bargain " dealer laughs all the way to the bank.:rotfl::rotfl:
