primary school trips? dont remember having any!
secondary school (for those who dont know what they were - the alternative to grammar school for the thicker kids) trips - well i remember them taking us to fontygary caravan park for some strange reason......the only 'facilities' were loos and a cafe which served only tea and coffee! this was many years ago and boy has that park changed!
the best trip in secondary school was a trip to belgium with the school choir! our choirmistress wanted to meet up with her husband (choir master in a different school) which they did on Ostend train station for all of ten minutes and her making us stand on the platform and sing we'll keep a welcome' as they boarded the train. never felt such a fool in all life before that! apart from that it was great fun and we got to go to paris and bruges and eat waffles and chips with mayonnaise! I was twelve and it was the first time i had been away from home.

When I went to the seaside, and having that feeling where the sand crumbles under your feet from the sea and you feel like you're going to fall in. I was about 6.
