Naa he's cool about the comb over, he's had years of micky taking about it anyway, like when he comes back from a jog it sticks to his forehead by the sweat and when he took his motorbike helmet of at a bike show in front of theses girls they laughed then the comb over flopped over his face.

Excellent speech, it will be a great success.

The only thing I would have omitted is the miniskirt part -only because when I read it I cringed slightly - don't know why, but I thought everything else was lovely.

Your partner sounds very lucky to have such a thoughtful husband.

Good luck OP, I've got to do a best man speech on Monday and I'm similarly bricking it! Thanks to those who gave advice, I hope to use some of it. A friend of mine says I should use the opportunity to flirt with the bridesmaids!

Hi, just wondered to let your all now i got married yesterday, the day went without a hitch, had the full church works with the bells and everything!, amazing day!, Just a shame it really does just fly by, you have to treasure every moment!.
My speech went perfect everyone laughed and was still saying what a great speech it was 4 hours later!.
And it's true once you get the first joke in and everyone starts laughing the nerves do go away and you start to enjoy it.!
