website problem

I had a webiste designed from a company called webcreationuk. It cost me alot of money, stress and headache. I finally managed to get the design and layout correct and it looks half decent for what I was trying to achieve. It took nearly 8 months and the problems I had are undescribable and unbelievable.

Finally yesterday it was completed, this morning I went on the website and it stated this:

This page is in Turkish, Translate it using google toolbar


Just need some advice on why this might be happening? I dont want to hear their lies anymore.

i think my google adwords account that was started yesterday could have something to do with it?

can anyone help at all? the site has vanished now, and no response from webcreationuk or the team they contract to in India.

Difficult to say what is happening without more info.
I would suspect the site has either been hacked, or taken offline by the people who are hosting it. If the designer/host have taken it down you need to contact them to resolve it - their site still seems to be live, and if you can resolve it with them it will save you a lot of hassle.
If you are in dispute with them, then there are three main things to consider when looking at getting it running again:
1. Who owns and controls the Domain name - if it is you, you could point it to whichever web hosting company you want.
2. Who is hosting the website - presumably the designer.
3. Do you have a copy of the website that you have presumably paid for, so that you could upload it to another host.

Yes it has been hacked. By someone from Turkey apparently, as you can see: www gas-safety-checks-london .co.uk

I own the domain. They host it for me, it was included in the price. The site loads slowly so my adwords landing page score is low adversely affecting my cpc. What do I do if I want to get rid of them?

I suspect the reason your site loads slowly is because it is based around a content management system - this means the main content is pulled from a database as each page is accessed. With a decent hosting account this isn't usually a problem, but yours does seem a little sluggish.

The fact that it was hacked is not a good sign either so perhaps you should look at transferring the site to another hosting company.

The domain was registered through a company called Key Systems and to transfer the domain you will need to get their IPSTAG changed from "KEY-SYSTEMS-DE" to whatever your new hosting company uses (Google transfer a domain for more info).

If you have been given CPanel access for your hosting account you may be able to change it yourself, but failing that you will have to contact them and ask them to do it for you.

As per the tracert, you domain resolving take 12 hops with some hops taking quite a lot of time. Your host can sort that out for you.

The page itself is not heavy but if it involves any DB trip, then you need to look the DB as well.

Looking at your website it looks to me like the content is pretty static , so I don't know why they would want to build it with a database driven content management system and all the overhead that comes with that sort of system. If the site were built using straight forward html and hosted in the UK it would run like a F1 racing car to UK residents which I assume is your target market.
