Is anyone else having difficulty logging onto Halifax Online Banking. It's been 3/4 days since I've been able to successfully log on without a critical error message appearing saying how there are problems and to try again later ???
Is this just me ?

Online has been fine for logging in all week... try deleting your cookies, temp files, etc and retry.
If no joy call the Helpdesk 0845 602 00000 -
Don't go in through a link in your favourites.
Go in via the www.halifax-online.co.uk site by typing it in directly!
Otherwise the advice in post 5 is excellent.0 -

This might be obvious, but have you checked to see it is the actual secure site https and all that and not a spoof website?0 -

Just a quick update. I rang customer services and they told me that it was a problem at their end and had to perform an update.... worked as soon as she said it had been done !
BTW for all those who want to avoid those hefty 0871 numbers (not just with Halifax but all other CC companies etc) just call the overseas number as its usually an 020 number --> normal rate calls !
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP GUYS!0 -

You can also usually identify a cheaper traditional landline number on this site :
